Your Rights
Under the Thai Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) B.E. 2562 (2019), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data held by the foundation. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties except where required by law or necessary for programme operation (e.g., partner facilities for enrolled students).
Student Data Protection
Because our students are minors (aged 15–19) from vulnerable backgrounds, their personal data is subject to enhanced protection standards beyond standard PDPA requirements.
Principles for Student Data
- Student personal information is collected only to the minimum extent necessary for programme delivery
- Student records are stored securely and accessible only to faculty, programme directors, and the foundation chairman
- No student photographs or identifying information are published publicly without explicit written consent from the student (and parent/guardian where applicable)
- Student data is never shared with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes
- On programme completion or departure, student records are retained for a maximum of 7 years then securely destroyed
Consent for Minors
Where a student is under 18 at the time of enrolment, the foundation obtains written consent from a parent or legal guardian for data collection, photography, and programme participation. This consent is reviewed and renewed at the start of each academic year.

Child Safeguarding Policy
Safeguarding is a primary obligation. All Sirirat staff, faculty, and partner facility personnel working with students are subject to mandatory safeguarding standards as a condition of their involvement with the programme.
As a programme working with disadvantaged youth aged 15–19, the Sirirat Health & Freedom Academy Foundation takes its safeguarding responsibilities with the utmost seriousness. Our Safeguarding Policy is rooted in the principle that all students have the right to learn and develop in a safe, supportive environment free from harm, exploitation, or abuse.
Commitments
- All faculty and partner facility staff undergo background verification before working with students
- The programme maintains a clear reporting chain for any safeguarding concern — any staff member may report a concern directly to the Programme Director or Chairman without risk of negative consequence
- Students are informed at enrolment of their rights and how to report concerns safely and confidentially
- No student is left without appropriate adult supervision during programme activities
- Physical discipline of any kind is strictly prohibited and constitutes immediate grounds for dismissal
- Any confirmed safeguarding incident is reported to the relevant Thai authorities in accordance with law
Designated Safeguarding Lead
The Programme Director (Ms. Sang-aroon Chantapoon) serves as the Designated Safeguarding Lead. All safeguarding concerns should be directed to her in the first instance. If the concern involves the Programme Director, it should be escalated directly to the Chairman (Marcel Jahnke).
